Although reluctant to be stuck with them, especially at home, he gives in 'just once' after witnessing bank employee Matt Kerrigan nearly dying with his child in a car hit and run as diversion for the theft of incriminating documents. They work out the bank, about to be taken over by the government to settle unsurmountable debts, is a front for an Irish mob. However it soon becomes clear the criminal hierarchy is dramatically different from what Nate assumed, so they must improvise.
